Myanmar Medical Technologist Association

Myanmar Medical Technologist Association is founded in 2014 and it is the registered Medical Technologist Association of medical technology professions in the country.

Myanmar Medical Technologist Association is formed by persons who completed the following courses.

( a ) Medical Laboratory Technicians Grade 2 course

( b ) Medical Laboratory Technicians Grade 1 course

( c ) Diploma in Para Medical Science (Medical Technology)

( d ) University of Medical Technology

( e ) Military Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science

Mission

To be continuously recognized as trustworthy and indispensable medical technologists in diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of advanced laboratory techniques.

Objectives

1. To actively participate in the public health care as per health policy and guidance laid down by the Government.

2. To get more unity and fraternity amongst the Medical Laboratory Technicians Grade 2, Medical Laboratory Technicians Grade 1 and Medical Technologists.

3. To help, assist and support in the social, educational and health affairs of laboratory technologist

4. To enhance the dignity and conduct of the laboratory technologist

5. To develop the medical laboratory works and research programs continuously

6. To communicate with local and international medical laboratory technologists and scientific organization and to co-operate with them.
